Bomb Threat at Home of Pope’s Brother Deemed Unfounded

Police in the US state of Illinois are investigating a bomb threat targeting the home of John Prevost, brother of Pope Leo XIV, in the town of New Lenox near Chicago. The threat was reported on Wednesday evening, prompting the evacuation of nearby homes and a large-scale search of the area.

After a thorough inspection, investigators found no explosives or hazardous materials and deemed the threat unfounded.
