Zelensky promises closer security cooperation with Turkey
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced closer security cooperation with Turkey after meeting his counterpart Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul on Saturday.
"This concerns, first of all, the areas in which we can support Turkey: expertise, technology and experience," he wrote on Telegram.
Erdogan told Zelensky that Turkey would continue to support negotiations between Ukraine and Russia to end the war, the Turkish presidential office said.
Zelensky said the two leaders discussed the possibility of cooperation on joint gas infrastructure projects and the joint development of gas fields.
