The US Department of Justice has released the final part of Epstein's files

On Friday, the US Department of Justice released the latest batch of documents relating to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was found hanged in his cell in 2019. This is in accordance with a law passed in November that requires all records related to him to be made public.

The new database contains more than three million pages, two thousand videos, and 180,000 photographs.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche noted that many parts have been redacted, primarily to protect victims and ongoing investigations. He added that processing such a large amount of material required the work of hundreds of lawyers.

This delay was one of the reasons why the department requested more time, despite the original deadline for publishing the files (December 19, 2025).

Blanche also rejected claims that the department was deliberately failing to prosecute Epstein's associates. This is related to President Donald Trump, who knew the deceased.

"Some documents contain false and sensational allegations against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI just before the 2020 election. To be clear, these allegations are unsubstantiated and false, and if they had any shred of credibility, they would certainly have been used as a weapon against President Trump," the department wrote on Friday before the release of the final installment.
